Joe Graziosi Greek workshop at Fermilab April 30

Received from Mady:

Hi,
I wanted to remind you that we have some special events at Fermilab this week in honor of National Dance Week.
Master teacher of Greek dancing, Joe Kaloyanides Graziosi, will be in town this week. We’re looking forward to a workshop with him at Fermilab’s Kuhn Village Barn on Thursday, April 30, at 7:30 p.m. He’ll also give a workshop at Evanston’s Monday night international folk dancing on May 4.
There will be another special teacher at international dancing on May 14 – Chicago’s own dance expert John Parrish, teaching French, Greek and other material from his extensive knowledge.
Carrying on with National Dance Week, this Saturday evening, May 2, we’ll have a Scottish Spring Dance at the Barn at 7 p.m., and on Sunday afternoon, May 3, at 2 p.m., there will be English country dancing at the Barn, to which all are welcome.
We ask for donations, particularly when we have a special teacher like Joe Graziosi. Otherwise, there’s no cost to dance at Fermilab. We dance international every Thursday evening, Scottish every Tuesday evening, and English once a month on Sunday (twice in May – live music on May 17!)
With the good weather, it’s a pretty place for a “field trip”. Spring brings baby geese and baby buffaloes and wildflowers. Hope to see you soon.
Cheers,
Mady
