* The 3 French dances were presented by
special guest Leslie Barr. The first dance was presented as “Rond Avant
Deux”, but afterwards Leslie said it should more properly be “Avant
Deux en Ronde”.
The Music/Dance/Notes links and the tune names in
parentheses after the name of the dance--region are things I found by
googling, and asking Siri on the iPhone to “name that tune” while it was
playing, not part of the presentation.
Leslie sang the song for Avant Deux an Ronde, so I was able to find a version on youtube by searching
for the lyric “Entrez la belle en vigne”, but the recording Leslie used
was from the CD “Chaï Live” by Benoit Guerbigny, which can be purchased
at the following link, if you can handle the French:
