Folk dancers from Fermilab will be performing at this festival:
St. George Romanian Festival at St. George's Church, 70 Rural St., Aurora. Performance times are 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Finnish Folk Music Group Tallari Sep 28/29 Chicago

Liisa informs us that the Folk Music Group Tallari will be performing in the area this weekend:

The Finnish American Society is putting on a show at the Estonia House 4PM on Sunday the 29th.  

14700 Estonia Ln Riverwoods IL 60015 - the set will showcase their new CD of Finnish-American immigrant songs.  (there is space for dancing too if folks want to)

They are also playing on Saturday night the 28th at the Old Town School of Folk Music for a dance party.
