The 11th annual free music marathon is scheduled for Saturday Oct. 13 2pm-10pm, and includes a number of performances of possible interest to international/world music fans (plus all sorts of other music)
- Golosa Univ. of Chicago Russian Choir
- Soloists from the Lira Singers
- Chicago Klezmer Ensemble
- Diego Alonso and Chiara Mangiameli
- Perla de México
and many others - including one called Mucca Pazza, billed as "Chicago's own circus punk marching band" - don't know anything about them, but it caught my attention...complete schedule is here
