Nikola forwarded this info:

Tamburitzans

Dorothy Menker Theater

America’s longest-running multicultural song and dance company, the Duquesne University Tamburitzans is a unique ensemble of talented young folk artists dedicated to the performance and preservation of the music, songs, and dances of Eastern Europe and neighboring folk cultures – a carousel of style and color from the first note to the final stomp.

This presentation is supported by the Performing Arts Fund, a program of Arts Midwest funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art, with additional contributions from Illinois Arts Council, General Mills Foundation, and Land O’Lakes Foundation.
